In-game purchases looking likely for Ghost Recon Online on Wii U

The PC version of Ghost Recon Online will be free to play. That being said, the game will support microtransactions for improved weapons and other items.

The Wii U title will apparently operation in a similar fashion. According to a new report, there will be in-game purchases – players will be able to acquire new content by using “Ghost Coins” purchased with real-world money or through in-game currency.

It’s also worth mentioning that the developers are probably implementing weapon/gear hot-switching between respawns on the Wii U tablet.
