Fairy Tail 2 introduces “Key to the Unknown”, a game-original story

Thanks to Koei Tecmo and Gust, we have the latest details about Fairy Tail 2, which cover the game-original story. This can be accessed after players complete the main story.

“Key to the Unknown” is the brand new story. Everything here is set after the events of the Alvarez Empire Arc. By experiencing the new story, fans can learn more about their favorite characters in “Character Stories” and uncover new interactions and special moments.

Key to the Unknown

After clearing the main story, a new journey that spans across the sprawling world map, the “Key to the Unknown,” begins. All four of its chapters can only be experienced through this game-original story.

Visit areas previously unobtainable in the main story as the adventure expands! Taking place in the west, “Investigating the Golden Tales”! has you locating a restaurant in the forest in order to obtain a hidden treasure. has you locating a restaurant in the forest in order to obtain a hidden treasure. A restaurant tucked away somewhere in the forest of Fiore, run by a “Monster Chef,” is said to hide a certain “treasure” that is rumored to be hidden in the restaurant; but it seems that only lovebirds can enter..? Find out the secrets of this restaurant, which can only be discovered through this game.

Monster Chef is a mysterious monster who runs a restaurant in the forest. He is a romantic who lives for love, but a strange incident causes him to run amok. Can Lucy and her friends bring him back to his senses and get to the “treasure” in the restaurant?

Gildarts, who has consumed a drink that “deepens your feelings for the person you love,” is even more concerned about Cana than usual, and searches for her from east to west. However, the seemingly foolish parental figure has deep feelings that only Gildarts and Cana can share… This is a story that also offers a glimpse into the feelings of each team member towards their “parents.”

After the battle, we head over to Akane Beach… The “Key to the Unknown” arc, which takes place after the main story, includes an encounter with an unexpected character. Apparently, she is not the only member of the Spriggan 12 visiting the beach…

A Moment with Your Companions

At the campfires in each area, episodes of Fairy Tail’s members are depicted fully voiced. (Voices are in Japanese only.) As you progress through the story or level up your characters, new episodes are unlocked.
