Astral Ascent “Rendezvous” update with Dead Cells crossover out now, patch notes
Astral Ascent is back with a new “Rendezvous” update, which is led by a brand new Dead Cells crossover.
Five new weapons have been made available tying in with Dead Cells. A couple of small features and bug fixes are also included.

Major Features
- Dead Cells Update: 5 New Weapons from Dead Cells license
- Ayla: Throwing Knife
- Kiran: Nutcracker
- Calie: Scythe Claw
- Octave: Wrenching Whip
- Yamat: Symmetrical Lance
- 15 new Weapon passives for the new weapons
- Guillain NPC will visit Andromeda’s bar if you have a weapon from Dead Cells
- Dual Weapons: Equip 2 weapons at once, switching anytime between both for deeper gameplay
- Visible Weapon: You can now see weapons you currently hold during most animations
Small Features
- community inspired Preview spells video in the Forge
- Calie’s Shield passive : Defensive Measures now works with her Gems weapon passive: Field Supplies
Balancing
- Auras: Ravaging sphere: Increased damage from 15% to 30%
- Crystal Screen: Increased explosion damage of max life from 60% to 100% and 100% to 200%
- Weapons: AYLA
- Passive Starfire: Increased damage
- KIRAN
- Passive Hit marker: Now also hits nearby enemies
- Passive Explosive temper: Increased damage
- Passive Sword juggling: Increased damage
- OCTAVE
- Weapon Exterminatum Exemplaris : Increased damage
- Passive Priora signal: Increased damage
- CALIE
- Weapon Survive spear: Increased attack speed
Bug Fixes
- Attacking aiming bottom with Octave dual guns would make Octave shake
- The Dead Cells weapons unlock condition was not visible
- French typos were fixed
- Octave Mechanical Spider could consume mana and be canceled before creating the spider
- Icarus Slime Aura on Player 2 would attribute the Slimes to Player 1
- In coop, if player 1 has inventory open, player 2 movement in their inventory is reversed
- Yamat’s Dance of Contempt summon could get stuck on borders
- Fixed description for last effect of aura Lighting Favor III
- Effects of auras that triggered on enemies hit with full life would not behave correctly during PvP
- Ayla Dead Cells daggers would sometimes shoot while launching spells
