Super Mario Bros. Movie getting new steelbook release from Walmart

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is far from a new release, but a new steelbook version is actually coming from Walmart very soon. Those interested in picking it up will be able to do so on March 4, 2025.

This new steelbook retailer is apparently a Walmart exclusive and it’s described as a limited edition. You’ll obviously get the movie itself, which is offered with 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and a digital copy. No new features appear to be included.

Some fans may recall that The Super Mario Bros. Movie previously received the Power-Up Edition with its own steelbook. A listing for that one has popped up on Walmart as well, indicating that it’s making a comeback via a restock. If you missed it the first time around, you’ll now have a chance to pick it up. As far as we can tell though, both versions are pretty much the same aside from the design of the steelbook.
