Dragon Ball: The Breakers getting Season 8 with Golden Frieza

Bandai Namco and Dimps are still pumping out content for Dragon Ball: The Breakers, and have now announced Season 8 featuring Golden Frieza as a Raider. The event begins on February 28, 2025.

Here’s some information about what’s planned for Golden Frieza:

Raider Showcase: Golden Frieza

The first reworked raider to see an expansion to elements of their base kit! By using the new Golden Frieza active skill at Level 4, Frieza transforms and gains access to new skills and abilities!

When transformed, Golden Frieza gains the following effects:

• Increased movement speed
• Ki Blasts are changed
• The “Zarbon!” active skill becomes the “Death Slicer Barrage” active skill
• The “Dodoria!” active skill becomes the “Gaaah!” active skill

However, Golden Frieza’s HP will gradually decrease and the transformation will end after enough damage is taken.

Active Skill Showcase: “Death Slicer Barrage”

After using the new “Golden Frieza” active skill, the “Zarbon!” active skill becomes the “Death Slicer Barrage” active skill! This skill fires consecutive Ki Blasts that can track multiple opponents and put the pressure on them. When used in tandem with the fiery walls from the “Death Slash” super attack, it can make for a deadly combination. 

Active Skill Showcase: “Gaaah!”

After using the new Golden Frieza active skill, the “Dodoria!” active skill becomes the “Gaaah!” active skill! A rushdown skill that quickly closes the gap between you and the opponent. Take the fight to any survivor trying to fight from afar! It’s also an effective skill for general movement.
