Splatoon 3 Squid Roll bug discovered on Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo has done a pretty good job at updating its Switch games to make them compatible on Switch 2, but a new bug has been discovered that only happens on the new console.
The crux of the matter is that if you’re playing on Nintendo Switch 2, it’s possible to perform a Squid Roll off any surface. That obviously shouldn’t be the case. The game was originally designed to limit Squid Rolls and everything works as intended on Nintendo Switch 1.
Here’s a look at the bug in action:

If we had to guess, Nintendo will be coming out with a patch to address the Splatoon 3 bug. We just saw the company release a handful of game updates this week to enhance Nintendo Switch 1 compatibility on Switch 2. This is on top of free updates for Switch 1 titles that come with improvements on the new console.
Splatoon 3 is available now on Nintendo Switch and is also playable on Switch 2. If we happen to hear about any other bugs, we’ll let you know.
