Chopper 1 is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch

Hamster is putting Arcade Archives Chopper 1 on Nintendo Switch, the company announced today. It launches tomorrow, August 21.

SNK originally developed Chopper 1. The shoot ’em up title first debuted in 1988.

Chopper 1 is a shooter released by SNK in 1988. Pilot a combat helicopter deep into enemy territory in a mission to restore peace to your homeland. Wielding overwhelming power far beyond what’s needed to simply protect one’s family, what will these men discover at the end of their path of destruction?

The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time.
