The Super Mario Galaxy Movie announced

To kick off today’s Nintendo Direct, a first look at the new Mario film was provided, which is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. A short teaser was shown during the presentation.

Originally, it was thought that the project would be called Super Mario World. However, following some domain registration notices found yesterday, the final name was leaked.

The Super Mario Galaxy games will serve as inspiration for the movie. Specific details about the plot were not shared. But yes, the core cast is returning, including Chris Pratt as Mario. Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad, and Kamek are all back as well.
