Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 announced for Nintendo Switch, amiibo revealed

Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are returning in a new collection. This launches on October 2, 2025.

The two titles will be sold together as a physical bundle. Both of these titles will be available individually on the Nintendo eShop as well.

These are largely the same games as they were on Wii. There are some extra bells and whistles though, including enhanced resolution, improved UI, Assist Mode, and new Storybook content.

On top of the above, new amiibo are coming in April. Here’s a look:

Finally, the storybook in the game will be available as a real life product via the My Nintendo store site. Release timing will be shared later.
