Spindle reveals Nintendo Switch release date, new trailer
Today, Deck13 and Wobble Ghost nailed down the release date for Spindle. The game is launching for Nintendo Switch on October 13, 2025.
We’ve been waiting on this one for awhile as the project was first confirmed for Nintendo Switch back in 2021. Funding was previously obtained via Kickstarter.
Here’s an overview of the action adventure title:
On a fateful day, you awaken … in a world that feels utterly foreign to you. This is where you make a surprising realization: You are… Death? Why you of all people? And what even happened in the first place? A talking sword? A wise mentor? Think again!
Only a Pig stands by your side! You set off together – but soon a horrible conundrum arises: No one is able to die anymore?! How long will a world without death be able to last?
To find answers, you make your way through perilous dungeons. But not every problem can be solved with a scythe! Only those who pay close attention will find a path to the deepest parts of the dungeon and closer to evil’s root.
Mysterious creatures lurk in the depths, scheming to obstruct your path. Do they keep guard over the lost souls? Or are they indeed the reason that nobody may ever die again?
