Splatoon 2 5.5.2 update out now, patch notes

A small version 5.5.2 update just went live for Splatoon 2. You can download it now, but it will also be rolling out to those who have automatic updates enabled. 

According to Nintendo, a specific bug has been squashed. This applies to those playing on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch together.

The official notice is as follows:

Splatoon 2 version 5.5.2 update patch notes

• Fixed an issue with League Battles where, when both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch users were included in the eight players who battled, sometimes League Power did not change after the battle.
