Yakuza Kiwami & Yakuza Kiwami 2 launch trailer – series expands on Nintendo Switch 2

SEGA has come through with a launch trailer for Yakuza Kiwami & Yakuza Kiwami 2. Starting today, both games can be experienced on Nintendo Switch 2.

Here’s some information about the two titles:

Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami – the story that launched the epic series – features enhanced graphics, improved frame rates, and additional language support on Nintendo Switch 2.

Take the fall for a murder and emerge from prison 10 years later to yakuza clans on the brink of a war that hurtles you on an intense journey of love, humanity, and betrayal, fueled by your fists and unyielding resolve, set against a bustling red-light district in modern-day Japan.

Dynamically switch between 4 fighting styles (brutal “Brawler”, speedy “Rush”, overpowering “Beast”, legendary “Dragon”), while utilizing makeshift weapons scattered around the streets to takedown hordes of enemies in realistic fights that are exhilarating and fun for anyone to pick up and play.

After breaking some faces, take a break from the main story to enjoy the immersive nightlife activities scattered throughout the city like karaoke, the casino, cabaret club, arcade, batting cages and more as you encounter colorful characters from all walks of life.

Yakuza Kiwami 2

Face off against the most powerful yakuza in the Kansai region of Japan, “Dragon of Kansai” Ryuji Goda, as the legendary man once known as the “Dragon of Dojima”, Kazuma Kiryu. A fierce battle to determine the one true dragon begins.

Unleash devastating combos, brutal ‘heat action’ moves, and dynamic environmental takedowns with Yakuza Kiwami 2’s full-contact brawling action. Every blow hits like a ton of bricks with intuitive controls that make it easy for anyone to feel the thrill of realistic and strategic street fights where anything goes.

A bonus ”Majima Saga” scenario, separate from the main story is also included. Discover the untold saga of what takes place between the events of Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 as Goro Majima.
