Marvel Cosmic Invasion reveals physical release for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Marvel Cosmic Invasion will make its digital debut in December, but a physical release has now been confirmed for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch – with the former having the full game on the cartridge. Retailers will begin carrying it on March 13, 2026.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion will have a standalone physical release, but there’ll also be a Deluxe Edition. With the Deluxe Edition, you’ll receive the game, a steelbook, premium art cards, sticker sheets, a poster celebrating the main cast, and a collectible art box.

In Marvel Cosmic Invasion, the immortal Super Villain Annihilus has launched an unprecedented attack across the galaxy, threatening all life as we know it. Fighters, both Earth-born and cosmic, must now join forces in a star-spanning adventure against the deadly Annihilation Wave. Choosing from a unique roster of characters, brawl through the streets of New York City all the way to the depths of the Negative Zone to foil Annihilus’ vow to spread death across the cosmos with the help of Thanos, M.O.D.O.K, Taskmaster and more devious allies.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion will be sold standalone for $40 on Nintendo Switch and $50 on Switch 2. The Deluxe Edition will go for $60 on Nintendo Switch and $70 on Switch 2.
