Tetris 99 50th Maximus Cup announced with new Kirby Air Riders theme

It’s been a bit since the last event in Tetris 99, but a 50th Maximus Cup has now announced which will grant players a new Kirby Air Riders theme.

In order to partake, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member. During the event period, you’ll have to obtain a total of 100 points. Once you do so, the Kirby Air Riders theme with background art, music, and Tetrimino designs based on the title will be unlocked. Note that you’ll earn more points the higher up you finish in each match.

The Tetris 99 50th Maximus Cup is planned to begin on December 4, lasting until December 8. You can check out the official trailer below.
