Nintendo Switch Online adds Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid 2 icons

December is Metroid month (at least if you’re celebrating Metroid Prime 4), and in honor of that, new icons are available on Nintendo Switch Online for Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid 2: Return of Samus.

Each game has five options available. They’re all characters, which cost 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch owners can claim them now.

Keep in mind that these are “play to unlock” icons. In other words, you’ll need to start Metroid: Zero Mission on the GBA app and Metroid 2 on the Game Boy app for both to become available. You’ll receive 50 Platinum Points each (for a total of 100) if you boot up the games.
