Villion: Code announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, new school RPG from Kouji Okada of Megami Tensei and Persona fame

This week’s issue of Famitsu has revealed Villion: Code, which is in the works for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. A release is planned for May 25, 2026 in Japan.

This is a new school RPG from Kouji Okada, the co-creator of Megami Tensei and Persona. It takes place in a university town of an isolated island floating in Tokyo Bay in the near future. Here students and teachers who have mutated into monsters are present. The game features procedurally generated dungeons and there’s “real-time speed action” combat”.

Aside from Kouji, Tadashi Satomi is on board to handle the scenario. Tsukasa Masuko is the sound composer. Both staffers worked on the Persona / Shin Megami Tensei series.
