Mario Tennis Fever launch trailer – new Nintendo Switch 2 sports game arrives

Thanks to Nintendo, we have the launch trailer for Mario Tennis Fever. The sports game makes its worldwide debut today.

Mario Tennis Fever serves up newly added characters, game modes and experiences. Choose from 38 playable characters – the most in series history! – including the debuts of Goomba, Nabbit, Piranha Plant, Baby Wario and Baby Waluigi. The game also introduces all-new Fever Rackets: Equip characters with a selection of 30 new rackets, each with its own unique abilities, get a rally going to build up the Fever Guage and unleash powerful Fever Shots!

Everyone from seasoned pros to first timers can enjoy new and returning game modes, including Swing Mode, where up to four players1 can execute each shot type using intuitive motion controls, and Trial Towers mode, where players take on a series of challenges as they make their way to the top. Players can also gather in online modes2 like Online Room for casual play, or Ranked Matches to vie for tennis supremacy! Don’t forget to check out Adventure mode and play through a storyline involving mysterious monsters turning Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Wario and Waluigi into babies.

Mario Tennis Fever also supports local GameShare functionality, allowing up to four players to take to the court together using just one game.
