Animal Crossing: New Horizons gets more details on February 2021 update, including Warp Pipes and holidays

During this week’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo shared the latest information on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game will be receiving a new update on February 25, followed by new Mario items starting on March 1.
More details have now appeared on Nintendo’s Japanese blog. We have a few more tidbits about how Warp Pipes function as well as upcoming holidays.
Here’s the full rundown, courtesy of GameXplain:
Mario collaboration
– If you have more than two Warp Pipes, you’ll emerge from a random Warp Pipe when you go into one
– Can place one in your home
– Travel between outside and inside
– Get a free mushroom mural in the mail after downloading the update
Hinamatsuri
– Get special dolls item and bonbori lanterns between February 25 and March 3
– Available via Nook Stop
π Day
– Get a π pie between March 1 and March 14
Saint Patrick’s Day
– Get shamrock items on March 10 through March 17
– These include Shamrock Soda, Shamrock Door Plate, and Shamrock Rug
– Get special clothing from the Able Sisters as well
