New details about the technical side of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy have come to light thanks to Digital Foundry such as frame rate and resolution. The outlet published a new video delving into a few different aspects.

Here’s the full rundown:

Apollo Justice

– 16:9 aspect ratio instead of original 4:3
– Cropping done to accommodate this
– Characters and backgrounds drawn at 1080p
– 3D assets have been revamped

Dual Destinies

– Opening video higher quality compared to the 3DS original
– Screen is slightly cropped in for aspect ratio purposes
– Some little details have been tweaked
– Character models have higher resolution texture art

Spirit of Justice

– Background artwork tweaked, higher resolution
– Revised assets elsewhere as well

Switch

– Native 1080p resolution when docked
– 720p in portable mode
– Switch has parity with other versions
– Continuous background movement / background animation is 30 FPS
– Anime cutscenes are animated at 24 FPS but encoded at 30 FPS
– Switch seems to register frame pacing problems in some animated sequences
