Bright Light is no more. Develop reports today that the studio was shut down late last year. Some employees simply lost their jobs while others were relocated to other EA divisions including Criterion and Playfish.
Bright Light was responsible for almost all of the Harry Potter video games. In recent years, the studio also worked on a slew of casual titles.

Two Tribes would like to hear what fans have to say about Toki Tori 2 on Wii U. The company doesn’t have any concrete plans to bring the game to Nintendo’s upcoming home console, though the fact that they have some interest in the idea is very interesting.
Two Tribes wrote on Twitter a couple of days ago:
“Just throwing this out there: who would like to see Toki Tori 2 on their Wii U?”
In other news, Two Tribes was asked about releasing Toki Tori 2 on the 3DS. The studio said:
“it’s possible! But nothing to report right now”

The winner of the first Nintendo Video New Year’s Telethon is CollegeHumor’s Dinosaur Office. Although most of you have probably seen it at this point, the clip is now seeing an extended run on the Nintendo Video service. This could be your last chance to see it – I believe the video will be removed on Saturday!

Update on 3DS Lite rumor
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Yesterday we posted a rumor regarding the possible development of the 3DS Lite. There was talk that, through Nikkei Trendy, Nintendo was working on an upgrade to the 3DS.
After doing some digging, it doesn’t seem like there was a rumor at all. The statement published in Nikkei Trendy was more in line with speculation than anything else. Unlike rumors we’ve seen from them in the past, Nikkei didn’t have anything substantial to report. So it seems as though the 3DS Lite was a prediction, and that’s all.

Resident Evil: Revelations demo set for North America, Europe
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Even though the Resident Evil: Revelations demo hasn’t hit the North America/European eShop yet, it was expect to arrive sooner or later. Capcom confirmed today that it is on the way, though the company wasn’t able to provide a concrete release date.
Capcom’s Christian Svensson posted the following on the Capcom-Unity boards:
“A RE: Revelations demo for NA and Europe is coming.
In the case of NA, we’re awaiting our date confirmation and code approval from NOA (we have a tentative from them, but I’ll have to keep you in suspense).
When we have something more concrete to share, you won’t be able to miss it on the Capcom-Unity blog.”
Resident Evil: Revelations launches in about a month. Therefore, the demo will most likely arrive within the next couple of weeks.
