Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced update announced, adds Connect iX mode with Copen

Inti Creates has revealed a new update for Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced, which brings Copen to the game. The patch is now starting to roll out on Nintendo Switch.

The update comes in the form of a new Connect iX mode. This takes Copen as he appears in Luminous Avenger iX 2 and puts him in a speedrun mode through the first half of Gunvolt 3 with a few tweaks to his gameplay.

Here’s some additional information:

One hero connects across the borderline. A new mode, “Connect iX (Speedrun)” has been added to Azure Striker Gunvolt 3. In Connect iX, players will control Copen from Luminous Avenger iX 2 as he speeds through 5 stages and bosses, attempting to get the highest score in the shortest time.
Use the Bullit Dash to speed through the air, lock onto enemies and take them down
The 7 EX Weapons (Lola’s special equipment) from iX 2 to unlock new strategies!
Enter Overdrive mode when your Kudos are high enough. Copen will power up, Lola will transform and support you with her song
(Keep gaining Kudos and she might transform into something new…)
Credits dropped by enemies can activate Lola’s Healing skill. Save them up for tough encounters
Master this customized Copen in Connect iX (Speedrun) to achieve higher and higher scores!
