Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition launches on Switch next week
Original: Today, Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition resurfaced with a release date. Ubisoft says the game is launching on June 25, 2024.
It was almost a year ago that Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition leaked. First, an ESRB listing outed the game. A listing on the Xbox store then gave us more details and first screenshots.
Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition will include an anniversary gallery, re-orchestrated soundtrack, and improvements. There’ll be other new content as well.
A trailer was shared today as well, though that has since been removed. We’ll add it in here once it’s available.
Update: The trailer is now live. We’ve attached it below.
Additionally, physical copies and collector’s editions have been announced by Limited Run Games. They’ll go up on July 12, 2024.
We also have more details. Quality of life improvements include autosave, cutscene-skip, and cross-save across all platforms. Players can also access a new Speedrun Mode to challenge others, 20+ new achievements, and an Anniversary Gallery delving deep into the game’s development history and featuring tons of never-before-seen artworks, videos, and more.
