Boomerang Fu – “Decoy” update out now on Switch, patch notes

Boomerang Fu has received its new “Decoy” update on Switch. It includes a new power-up, improved bots, and more.

Below are the full patch notes:

NEW POWER-UP:

• Decoy: make your enemies question reality itself by dashing to create an illusory doppelganger

BOT IMPROVEMENTS:

• Added “bots wear hats” setting in the Options menu
• Bots now revive fallen teammates!
• Bots now get surprised when enemies teleport on Easy and Medium difficulty

NEW FEATURES:

• Characters in the Character Select screen now remember the last hat they were wearing
• Added Traditional Chinese language option

BALANCE TWEAKS:

• Reviving unarmed teammates now automatically gives them one boomerang
• Made alt characters slightly more obvious in character select screen

BUG FIXES:

• Fixed disguised players wearing two hats when killed
• Fixed alt character button prompt not showing for Players 2-6 on character select screen
• Fixed revive UI still showing after round end
• Coffee can no longer wear Captain’s Hat (because the brim clips with Coffee’s rim)
• Updated Korean translation
