Bug Fables, Smelter, Lore Finder, and Tactical Galactical announced for Switch

Ahead of BitSummit in Japan this weekend, publisher Dangen Entertainment has announced several new games for Switch. Bug Fables, Smelter, Lore Finder, and Tactical Galactical are all on the way. Releases are spread out between this year and 2020.

Bug Fables
Small Heroes. Big Adventure. Bug Fables is an adventure RPG following three heroes, Vi, Kabbu, and Leif, as they embark on an epic quest in Bugaria in search of treasure and immortality.
The game combines flat objects with 3D physics as the player jumps and utilizes the heroes’ unique abilities to solve puzzles and stun enemies while exploring a variety of unique, colorful areas. Battles are turn-based and with timed button inputs that can enhance your abilities.
STORY
Hidden within the foliage of nature lies a small but prosperous continent – Bugaria. Insects from all over the world travel to it in search of the treasure scattered across it. The most sought after of these relics is The Everlasting Sapling! Eating just one of its leaves can grant even immortality! In search of this ancient artifact, a brave team of explorers – Vi, Kabbu, and Leif – will travel across many different environments. In order to do so, they must work together to clear puzzles, defeat strong enemies and help the general bug populace!

Smelter
Smelter is a real time strategy-action platformer hybrid inspired by classic games of the 16-bit era. Players play as Eve, who teams up with the mysterious armor, Smelter, in her search for Adam. Expand Smelter’s fortifications throughout the various domains of the Rumbly Lands watched over by the Guardians and Watchers. Defend against onslaughts of enemies, discover lost ruins, meet new and eccentric characters and grow stronger before diving into pulse pounding, 2D side-scrolling action platformer levels.

Lore Finder
Uncover the story of Lore Finder, a 2D action metroidvania and a modern queer reimagining of the cosmic horror genre.
Become K.C. Morgan, paranormal investigator, and search a New England mansion for your missing father. Battle the forces of corruption infesting the mansion armed only with your wits and an old .38 revolver, and gather scrolls of forbidden lore. But the more you discover, the more warped and twisted the world – and you – become.

Tactical Galactical
Tactical Galactical is a real-time hex-based strategy game, designed from the ground up with game controllers in mind.
On planets far beyond our galaxy, three daring adventurers battle for control. Join Delores the Invincible, Zubair the Cunning, and Mikhail the Brave in an epic struggle to become master of the cosmos.
• Players control a unique assortment of ground units from their spaceship above the battlefield, from nimble humans, to shielded attack vehicles, to flying fortresses and giant robots.
