FREE RUNNING LEAPS ONTO NINTENDO Wii, NINTENDO DS AND PC!

Free RunningTM, the smash-hit extreme sports game on PS2 and PSP, is heading (and leaping) to WiiTM, DSTM and PC formats in Q2 2009!

Peter Rezon, Reef Entertainment Managing Director said, “Following the success of Free RunningTM across Europe, we’ve wanted to expand the game’s formats, and at the same time, play to each formats strengths. So with the WiiTM version for example, similar to our recent release Rogue Trooper®: Quartz Zone Massacre, we’ve utilised the Wii controllers to great effect, making the Free RunningTM experience unique to WiiTM. We now have physical interface which works brilliantly with the extreme sport which is Free Running!”

In addition, both the Nintendo DSTM and PC version have been given an overhaul in terms of gameplay, graphical look and feel.

A few days ago, one Skype representative said that it would be “technically possible” to bring Skype to the DSi. But according to Nintendo, there are “no plans” release some sort of Skype application for the handheld.

“We have no plans to release a Skype application for Nintendo DS or DSi.”
