London (15th October 2008) – Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces the TAITO® game EXIT™ DS, exclusively for the Nintendo DS™ handheld system, will be available across Europe on 7th November 2008.

As “Mr. ESC”, a professional escapologist who can rescue people from just about any situation, EXIT players must negotiate numerous obstacles while rescuing victims from ever more dangerous situations. Players will undertake various actions, including running, jumping, climbing onto ledges and climbing down ropes on their way to becoming the ultimate escape artist!

John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “TAITO is following up the fantastic success of SPACE INVADERS EXTREME with another hugely entertaining game for the Nintendo DS. Empire Interactive Appointed As Worldwide Publisher for Console Adaptations of Award-Winning PlayFirst Titles

AUSTIN, Texas – Oct. 14, 2008

Empire Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings (NASDAQ: SSTR), today announced a new development and publishing partnership with PlayFirst, Inc. The long-term agreement gives Empire Interactive exclusive, global rights as the developer and publisher for the console installments of several of PlayFirst’s well-known titles. Already in development are Diner Dash®: Flo on the Go™, Wedding Dash®, Dream Chronicles® and Chocolatier® for Nintendo DS™, all of which are expected to ship in 2009.

“The popularity of and strong fan-base for PlayFirst’s games in addition to Empire’s dedication to growing players’ game options made it an obvious match for the partnership,” said Karim Farghaly, vice president of sales, Empire Interactive Inc. “This agreement will enable us to present console players with a growing selection of fun, premium casual games.”
