Splatoon 3’s content cycle has largely come to an end, which means we may not see any major buffs or nerfs to weapons, subs, or specials. That means it’s as good a time as any to examine each of the game’s special weapons, how to use them most efficiently, and how to counter other players trying to use them against you.
If you haven’t played much Splatoon 3 lately, special weapons are arguably one of the most important elements of any game mode. They’re often responsible for completely turning the tide of battle upside down, especially when used well or coordinated with other teammates. It’s important to at least have a basic understanding of each special weapon you take into battle, and we’ll be going over basic to intermediate tips and tricks today.

Flag Race short course guide for Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend of Zelda series is home to some of the most iconic villains in all of gaming, and Echoes of Wisdom has just introduced a brand-new one, which is the Flag Race mini-game. If you haven’t encountered it already, you’ll unlock it after completing a few specific steps. First, you need to have progressed far enough in the story that Impa tells you about a white horse (you can’t miss it, don’t worry). From there, you’ll need to head to Hyrule Ranch and then close a rift to unlock Zelda’s signature white horse. However, that’s where the challenge starts: upon unlocking this specific horse, Hyrule Ranch starts offering the Flag Race mini-game that has exclusive prizes within. And the Flag race short course is particularly difficult.

Today, we’re going over how to complete the Runaway Horse quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and get your very own steed.
Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available now, and it’s got the largest overworld of any 2D entry in the series. That means traversing it on foot takes a long time. Fortunately, it’s possible to unlock the ability to tame and ride horses from Hyrule Ranch pretty early on in the game. This is done through the Runaway Horse side quest, which you can activate by talking to a man in Hyrule Ranch (which is a ways northwest from Lueburry’s House, if you’ve made it there).

Now that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has launched, some fans might be curious as to how long it takes to beat the game.
Echoes of Wisdom is available now on Switch, and it’s the first truly new top-down entry in the series since A Link Between Worlds over ten years ago. Whereas new 3D Zelda titles are notorious for taking well over 150 hours to fully complete, Echoes of Wisdom is more of a bite-sized adventure in comparison. Still, there’s plenty of content on offer, especially if you’re going for 100 percent completion.

The 7 Star Serperior Tera Raid Battle for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is live now. It goes from now until September 22nd, and then it comes back a week later from September 27 to September 29. This time, Serperior is running Tera Grass, which boosts its signature Contrary Leaf Storms to nuclear power. How to revisit the Grand Festival venue in Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3’s big Grand Festival event has wrapped up, ending the game’s primary content cycle (save for maybe a couple of repeat Splatfests). During the event, all players were moved over to an exclusive Grand Festival venue instead of the standard Splatsville, Inkopolis Square, or Inkopolis Plaza hub. The seven idols took turns performing their music during the event, too. The Grand Festival venue had a ton of work put into it, and so it’d be a shame if it weren’t accessible again after the event. Fortunately, you can still go back even though the event has ended. All you need is a certain amiibo.

With Splatoon 3’s Grand Festival coming up soon, we figured now would be a good time to make a guide on sub weapons aimed at casual or former players who might be returning to play the event.
If you haven’t played much of Splatoon 3 just yet (somehow), there are tons of sub weapons available in the game that each serve a different purpose. Some are area-of-effect damage-rackers, while others are purely defensive or for support. Still, how well you use your subs can make or break individual games.
