Following the release of Splatoon’s August update, Twitter user “NWPlayer123” data mined the files and managed to discover images of upcoming weapons. We’ve placed the images past the break to avoid spoilers.

Another batch of art has come in for Super Mario Maker. We’ve weeded through the old images, and have posted the new pieces of art below.

Update: As some of you have pointed out, these maps were shown during one of the recent Japanese Splatoon commercials. We’ve taken off the rumor tag.

As we reported earlier today, a few Super Mario toys will be sold at McDonald’s in the UK starting on August 12. Each one will be included in Happy Meals. Nintendo Life has since posted photos of the different items, which can be viewed in the gallery below.

Nintendo issued three new pieces of art from Zelda: Tri Force Heroes today. All of the images are attached to the gallery below.

Nintendo put out some character art for Star Fox Zero today. We’ve included the images in this post.

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Devil’s Third, Monster Strike, Nobunaga’s Amibition 2, Romance of the Three Kingdoms II, Splatoon, and Super Robot Wars BX. Scans of each title can be found in the gallery below.

Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages premiered in Japan last month. A trailer for next year’s movie accompanies the film, and we previously heard that a new Pokemon was shown during the video.

We now have the first images of the new Pokemon. It definitely looks like the blob that was shown in fan sketches. For the time being, it’s still completely unclear what this new Pokemon is about.
