Nintendo is working on a patch for Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. It’s coming soon to the Japanese 3DS eShop, though I’m sure any issues with the overseas release will be looked into as well.

Here’s what Nintendo will be fixing with the patch:

Nintendo has opened the official teaser site for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. Access it here.

Currently, visitors can watch a quick trailer for the game’s limited edition. Expect more content when the full site launches.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist has already been patched on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with PC updates coming in the future. Thankfully, Ubisoft isn’t leaving Wii U out of the picture.

On Twitter, the official Splinter Cell account tweeted that Wii U is also being looked at for patches. It reads:

GameStop is now taking pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD GameStop Exclusive Limited Edition. You can place an order here.

There is one small yet strange detail to point out. GameStop is charging $60 for pre-orders, but Nintendo mentioned in its announcement a few days ago that the limited edition will cost $55. I wonder what the discrepancy is about…

Mighty Switch Force! 2 will be hitting Wii U in October, according to WayForward. The company’s Matt Bozon just confirmed the date on Twitter through the following message:

Mighty Switch Force! 2 was first outed for Wii U thanks to a PEGI listing. Nintendo Everything received official confirmation of its existence a few weeks ago.

IGN has posted another round of quotes from Reggie Fils-Aime. This time around, the Nintendo of America comments all about online gaming and digital downloads. You can find his full comments below.

Peter Molyneux, the creator of Fable, has named his top five games. There is one Nintendo title on his list: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Molyneux told TechRadar:

“I just feel it’s jaw-dropping and its use of the hardware was brilliant. And I’ve played that game through several times.”

Molyneux’s other favorite games? World of Warcraft, Clash of Clans, Half Life 2, and Ico.

Rayman Legends may be multiplatform in the west, but it’s still a Wii U exclusive in Japan. In fact, Nintendo is handling publishing duties in the country.

Rayman Legends also has a different, but pretty nice boxart in Japan. Take a look below (courtesy of Amazon):
