Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion delayed to 2026
Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion has been hit with another delay, with the game now expected to launch in 2026. The title will launch worldwide.
According to today’s announcement, Mages “is using the additional time to ensure that the next installment, introducing significant changes in perspective to enhance the immersive horror, lives up to the Corpse Party legacy and delivers the biggest frights yet.”
While fans wait, they can play the Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack. XSEED just announced today that this is heading west on Nintendo Switch later in 2025. You can find more information about it here.
Corpse Party 2 was announced for Nintendo Switch in 2024 and was planned for that year. But in October, it was moved to 2025. This is now the second major delay.
