Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken coming to Switch
Another Dokapon game is coming to Switch with Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken having now been revealed for the platform. Biccamera, a retailer in Japan, just put up a listing for the title.
Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken originally released for the PlayStation at the end of 1999, but only in Japan. New features are planned for the Switch version of the board game RPG hybrid.
First, online play is now fully supported. It’s possible to suspend a game at any time and pick up where you left off. Another big feature is a double speed function, and you can increase the game speed between and 3x and 5x – this is even supported online.

It’s unclear if Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken will be localized for Switch in the west. That being said, Idea Factory did ship Dokapon Kingdom: Connect – which originally hit the Wii – in the west last year, so it’s possible that the company will do something similar for this one as well.
Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken launches for Switch in Japan on August 1, 2024.
