Dragon Quest Builders 2 details new DLC and more

During a stage event at Jump Festa 2019, Square Enix shared information about new DLC planned more the game and more. We have a summary of the details below.

DLC Pack No. 1: Japanese-Style Pack

– 700 yen
– Due out by April 2019
– Over 20 Japanese-style materials
– Includes various colors of Japanese-style lanterns, hanging scrolls, onigiri (rice balls), elegant wall blocks, Japanese-style futons, pine trees, and more

New Year Pack

– Free
– Due out on December 27
– Materials pack that includes the New Year dish, New Year pine decoration, and battledore racket
– The battledore racket is a fun weapon with high knock-back power that can blow the enemy away

Bulletin Board Contest for January 2019

– The theme of the first in-game Bulletin Board contest will be “Memories of Monzola”
– Runs during the entirety of January
– Higher-ranking contest winners will be awarded medals
– Larger contests will award trophies (the January contest falls in this category)

Builders Gallery Website

– Square Enix has launched the “Builders Gallery” website, where users can check out the photos players upload to the in-game Bulletin Board outside of the game itself
– It works on PCs, smartphones, and tablets

Bug Fix Update Coming Soon

– There is a bug within Dragon Quest Builders 2 that would stop players from being able to progress
– Update in the works that will release in a few days to fix it
