Epic Mickey Rebrushed 100 percent completion

If you’re looking to 100 percent complete the recently-released Epic Mickey: Rebrushed – first, that’s a big challenge, but second, we’ve compiled a list of all the criteria you’ll need to fulfill plus some tips on getting to full completion. You’re definitely in for the long haul with this one – there are well over 200 well-hidden collectibles, and you’ll need to finish at least three separate playthroughs of the game to get them all. Here’s our Epic Mickey: Rebrushed 100 percent completion checklist.

Epic Mickey Rebrushed 100 percent requirements

Epic Mickey Rebrushed 100% Completion Checklist

As mentioned before, you’ll need to complete a minimum of three playthroughs in order to 100 percent complete Epic Mickey: Rebrushed – and that’s assuming you do everything correctly. Your absolute best bet on finding all the collectibles is carefully following a YouTube walkthrough. There are so many collectibles in this game that writing them all out in text form doesn’t work out super well. One of your playthroughs will need to be a Paint run, where you use Paint on every pump and against every boss. One will need to be a Thinner run, and the third run only exists because the Damien Salt side quest has three potential endings and thus warrants a third run.

  • All 112 Pins. This is what warrants three playthroughs of the game, because many pins are mutually exclusive and you can only get one or the other in a given run. There are Bronze Pins, Silver Pins, Gold Pins, and Special Pins, and they all add up to 112. Like we said earlier, we’d recommend following a YouTube playthrough. If you try to go for these pins without prior knowledge of how to get them, you might wind up having to do a fourth playthrough and beyond.
  • All 3 Cartoons. Probably the easiest requirement here, because it’s automatically fulfilled if you beat the game and complete the other criteria listed here.
  • All 156 Concept Arts. These collectibles alone will make your first playthrough significantly longer than the ones that come after it. Thankfully, when you beat the game, you can start a New Game+ and carry over all your Concept Art, so you won’t have to collect them again. The trickiest Concept Art is probably one inside the first Beetleworx Generator inside the Mad Doctor’s attic – if you save Gremlin Jarvis, he will destroy the generator and prevent you from getting it, and if you destroy the generator, the door will shut and prevent you from getting it as well. Keep a sharp eye out for these!
  • All 72 Film Reels. There are two of these per projector screen. Some projector screens are mutually exclusive during a given playthrough, but you can go to the cinema at Mean Street and play the ones you missed. Once you have all 72 Film Reels, you can talk to the usher in front of cinema to receive tons of rewards. You can do this in New Game+ as well to get extra health and sketch capacity right off the bat.

Normally, we’d include all 40 movies as a requirement here to 100 percent complete Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, but it’s actually impossible to achieve due to a glitch which has not been patched as of now. Without rhyme or reason, certain in-game cutscenes don’t register to the movies tab after watching them. In our case, most cutscenes involving Mean Street (and restoring the animatronic characters) were not saved to our movies list despite us viewing them in-game. We’re not sure if this will receive a patch or not, but if it doesn’t, then it’s impossible to complete the movies list under normal circumstances. If, however, a patch is released that corrects this issue, we’ll update this post accordingly.

Will you go for Epic Mickey Rebrushed 100 percent completion, or will you just go with a regular playthrough instead? Feel free to let us know in the comments below. And if you’re still on the fence, you can read our review for the game here and access its official store page here.
