Europe: New hardware bundles for 3DS XL and Wii U due out in coming months
Monster Hunter™ 3 Ultimate and Fire Emblem: Awakening hardware bundles bound for Europe
14th February 2013 – The coming months are an exciting time for all fans of Nintendo hardware, with the announcement of black and white editions for Nintendo 3DS™ XL as well as new bundle releases for both Nintendo 3DS XL and Wii U™. The various bundles on offer incorporate highly-anticipated titles such as Monster Hunter™ 3 Ultimate or Fire Emblem™: Awakening. In addition, the launch of the new Nintendo 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro for Nintendo 3DS XL completes the bumper line-up.
On 22nd March, limited edition bundles featuring Capcom®’s Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS XL. The Wii U Limited Edition Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Premium Pack not only features a black Wii U console with 32GB of storage*, but also a black Wii U Pro Controller and a copy of the game. The Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Limited Edition Pack comes with the game pre-installed on a black Nintendo 3DS XL – a brand new hardware colour for the handheld system.
The world of Monster Hunter™ can be experienced alone or in local multiplayer for up to four players on Nintendo 3DS, while Wii U players will be able to form hunting parties of up to four players online – or enjoy the hunt with Nintendo 3DS players via a local wireless connection. A demo will be available for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions on 21st February via Nintendo eShop.
The Nintendo 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro for Nintendo 3DS XL, which offers an alternative control method for players of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and other selected Nintendo 3DS titles, will be also be launching in Europe on 22nd March.
Additionally, the captivating world of Fire Emblem: Awakening for Nintendo 3DS is about to open up for European fans. In celebration, the Nintendo 3DS XL Limited Edition Pack with Fire Emblem: Awakening pre-installed, which includes an exclusive blue Nintendo 3DS XL console with Fire Emblem art imprinted on the console itself, will be arriving in shops alongside the release of the standalone game from 19th April.
In the game, players will command and fight alongside an army of spirited heroes standing against an enemy with the power to destroy empires. Plan your attack, customise your forces, and guide your heroes as you forge alliances that strengthen your resolve in battle and shape the course of history. A demo will be available from Nintendo eShop in early April.
