Fall Guys update now allows up to 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch 2

Fall Guys is the latest example of a Nintendo Switch game that’s seen an improvement on Switch 2 with an update.

Today, the title issued its next big patch, which is Tropical Tides. Tucked away in the official notes is one line about Nintendo Switch 2. It states: “We have uncapped FPS on Nintendo Switch 2, allowing the game to run on up to 60 FPS on that platform.”

As of now there’s no word on a native Nintendo Switch 2 version of Fall Guys. However, it should run better now than it did previously through backwards compatibility.

For Nintendo Switch 1 players, the title will continue to max out at 30 FPS. However, performance has struggled on that platform and we don’t see any signs of future improvements.
