Fantasy Life i sales surpass 500,000, special piece of art shared
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has already managed to reach its first major sales milestone.
According to Level-5, the game has sold over 50,000 copies. That’s based on the combined performance for all platforms worldwide. News about the success was shared on social media today along with the commemorative piece of art above.
While we don’t have specific data, Fantasy Life i appears to be doing very well on Nintendo Switch. The game’s Deluxe Edition topped the Nintendo eShop charts this week while the standard version is also in the top three.
Despite a rocky road to launch, Fantasy Life i now seems to be paying off for Level-5. The company delayed the project not once, but twice. After it was initially slated for 2023, Level-5 moved it to 2024, and then later April 2025. Producer Keiji Inafune also left in 2024 with Level-5 CEO stepping in to take on the role. Another change involved making Fantasy Life i multiplatform and Nintendo was first planned to handle publishing in the west.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is out now on Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow soon.
