Final Fantasy 7 Remake dev thinks Nintendo Switch 2 version will be one of the system’s model ports
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade director Naoki Hamaguchi has spoken more about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version of the RPG, and has shared a few words of confidence.
Screen Rant was recently speaking with Hamaguchi about the game. During the discussion, he relayed his thoughts that the upcoming release “will kind of turn out to be one of the model HD games for Switch 2 ports.”
Hamaguchi said in the interview:
“I can pretty confidently state that I think this Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy 7 will kind of turn out to be one of the model HD games for Switch 2 ports. I want players to see and judge this for themselves. We do have a demo coming out at the end of the year.”
We recently published our own interview with Hamaguchi about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. If you’re interested in that, head on over here.
Nintendo Switch 2 is only a few months old, but Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade already has some competition. Cyberpunk 2077 and Star Wars Outlaws have been cited as two very impressive third-party ports so far.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2025.
