Fire Emblem Heroes: upcoming event schedule, tons of new content live, new summoning focus
Yesterday, Fire Emblem Heroes was updated to version 2.2.0, which brought with it a lot of gameplay improvements. Today, a ton of new content went live in the game.
First up is a new summoning focus, Special Heroes: Love Abounds, featuring Roy, Lilina, Hector and Lyn in special festive outfits. New paralogues and quests centered on these new Heroes also went live. The summoning focus will be available for a whole month, until March 9th.
A set of new quests has been added. Titled Weapon Refinery Quests, completing them will give Refining Stones and Arena Medals to use in the Weapon Refinery.
Daily rotating content is coming to Special Maps. Five different special maps with various difficulty modes will rotate daily. These maps feature enemy reinforcements, and clearing them nets you rewards like orbs and blessings. Also, the XP and SP you earn won’t decrease on subsequent playthroughs, so they are ideal for training your Heroes.
Also, seven Grand Hero Battles are now part of Special Maps and will be available permanently on a rotating basis. Lots of new quests centered on them are also available. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday: Narcian: Wyvern General
- Tuesday: Navarre: Scarlet Sword
- Wednesday: Robin: Mystery Tactician
- Thursday: Ursula: Blue Crow
- Friday: Lloyd: White Wolf
- Saturday: Michalis: Ambitious King
- Sunday: Xander: Paragon Knight
Finally, an entirely new gameplay mode is now available – Tap Battle: Illusory Dungeon. Somewhat akin to rhythm games, in this mode you simply have to tap summoner screen to attack waves of enemies using a team of four Heroes. Your Heroes’ level, stats or skills don’t matter in this mode, so feel free to use whoever you like. The event will run until February 23rd. As of today, eight stages (or 40 floors) of the Illusory Dungeon are available. For the next couple of days, 20 floors will be added each day, until all 100 floors are available. There’s also a Hard difficulty, as well as Expert Mode, in which you have to tap each Hero’s row in order to attack.
Also, Intelligent Sytems released an updated event schedule for February and March. Head past the break to view it:
