Guide: All Chocobo GP characters and tracks

Following the release of Chocobo GP, we’ve put together a new guide that lists all of the available characters and tracks in the game at the moment.

All characters, base roster

Chocobo GP has a total of 23 characters on the base roster. The full list can be found below.

A note about Seasons

New characters will be available through Seasons over time. Square Enix is providing players with 800 mythril (equivalent to a Prize Pass) for a limited time as a season One login bonus. This will let them acquire Cloud from Final Fantasy VII as a level reward of the first Prize Pass. Players will also have the opportunity to obtain Final Fantasy VIII’s Squall from the Gil Shop.

Here’s some additional information about Seasons:

Lasting roughly two months, each Season will present special rewards which players can earn by raising their season score and season level through participation in Chocobo GP Mode. An optional Prize Pass will be available for purchase, granting players access to additional rewards and the ability to earn resources, such as Gil, more efficiently. Gil can be used to purchase various rewards in the game’s Gil Shop.

Chocobo GP has nine tracks. Having said that though, most of these have 2-4 different layouts. The full lineup can be found below.

Chocobo GP is now available for Switch, and it can be ordered from the Switch eShop. It’s not being sold physically in North America, but those looking for a boxed copy can purchase one from Amazon UK here (it can ship to the US as well). You can also check out our review here.
