We’ve made some fixes to improve the stability of online play.

  • Fixed an issue where City Trial matchmaking could take a long time to complete.
  • Fixed an issue where a match would not start properly after matching in City Trial.
  • Fixed an issue in which, if a player experienced a communication error in the Paddock, other players’ games would not progress.
  • Additionally, we have fixed some issues to make the game more enjoyable.

In addition, Nintendo has also included this disclaimer:

Some issues that occur during matchmaking or online play may not be resolved with this update.

If the match does not start after waiting for more than 90 seconds on the matching screen, try exiting the matching screen, or if you cannot exit, try restarting the software.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
