Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series Switch frame rate, resolution, file size

The official Japanese website for Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series has opened, and it offers up key information about the Switch version – notably the game’s frame rate, resolution, and file size.
First up, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is confirmed to run at “up to” 60 frames per second on Nintendo’s console. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco doesn’t elaborate further. Other platforms essentially run at a constant 60 FPS, but it’s possible that the Switch version may run into a dip here and there.
In terms of resolution, you’re getting a maximum of 1080p when docked and 720p in portable mode. Bandai Namco again uses the term “up to” here, so the resolution could drop a bit during more strenuous scenes.
The file size for Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series clocks in at about 8GB on Switch. That’s slightly less than other platforms, which are estimated to be 12GB.
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is fully compatible with the Switch Pro Controller, and players can also choose to use the Joy-Con when held horizontally.
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series launches for Switch on July 8, 2022. It will include remastered versions of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil.
