Life is Strange: Remastered Collection release date announced
Life is Strange: Remastered Collection now has a final release date, with Square Enix and Deck Nine confirming today that the package is scheduled for February 1, 2022.
Life is Strange: Remastered Collection includes Life is Strange Remastered and Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered. It includes remastered character and environment visuals, a new engine and lighting upgrades, and new fully motion captured facial animation in Life is Strange. Before the Storm contains the Deluxe content – specifically outfits, the ‘Farewell’ episode, and Zombie Crypt outfit.
Life is Strange Remastered was previously planned for this year. Last month, a delay was announced. The team decided to move back the release date of Life is Strange: Remastered Collection, explaining that “due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Life is Strange Remastered Collection.”
Speaking of Life is Strange: True Colors, that game recently came out, though not on Switch. It’s planned to arrive by the end of 2021, but a specific date has not been shared at this time. We’ll bring that information to you as soon as we have it.
