Lucadian Chronicles details
Dark Roast Entertainment has shared new details about Lucadian Chronicles. You’ll find the latest information below.
Dark Roast Entertainment announced today that Lucadian Chronicles is coming soon to North America, available exclusively in the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U system.
In Lucadian Chronicles you recruit heroes and assemble teams to take on a variety of strategy challenges. In the Campaign mode you’ll experience the story of the land of Lucadia as seen through the eyes of its colorful characters, with your choices influencing the story. Once you’ve built up your collection of heroes you can take on other players in online Leagues, wielding more powerful teams as you progress through the game. If you’re looking for a pure test of skill you can take on other players in the Draft Tournament mode, competing in real-time against other players to pick heroes then battle.
In Lucadian Chronicles heroes and sorceries are represented by cards which are arranged to form teams. Each card has a color and cost, with restrictions on total team cost and color adjacency influencing your strategy. Creating teams in which your heroes complement each other and take advantage of enemy weaknesses is the key to victory.
You can place a Golem in front to protect your archers, or enhance your Beast Tamer to power up your Mastodon. Does your opponent have hearty warriors in front of their fire mages? Use flying units to skirt their protection and overwhelm their back row.
Lucadian Chronicles offers over 100 unique cards, each viewable in high res at true 1080p.
Lucadian Chronicles supports Off-TV Play and has in-game Miiverse support. Comment on each challenge in the single-player campaign and your posts will appear on other players’ maps, or share your opinion (and fun drawings) on individual cards in your collection. Master the different game modes to earn stamps to add to your posts and show off your accomplishments.
