Major character leaked for Resident Evil Requiem

An accidental leak has revealed the existence of a major character in Resident Evil Requiem. Spoilers lie ahead.

The news here steams from the PlayStation Store. An updated piece of key art has been discovered, which reveals the existence of the character. We’ll be getting into this more after the break, so this is your last spoiler warning.

According to the PlayStation Store, Leon will indeed be appearing in Resident Evil Requiem as has been discussed quite extensively within the community. This is based on a new piece of key art, which you can check out below.

Leon, a fan favorite who has been featured in the franchise’s various games has been a big talking point as a potential character for Resident Evil Requiem. He’s been rumored for quite some time now, but there’s still been nothing official from Capcom. 

Producer Masato Kumazama was actually asked about Leon in Resident Evil 4 not too long ago. However, he essentially laughed and said: “We will take on board this feedback.” Obviously Capcom was looking to avoid spoiling the surprise for fans.
