Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope character guide: Rabbid Peach
Nintendo Everything has created a series of character guides for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, looking at the best skills to acquire, party members to use with them, and Sparks to give them to maximize their potential. This is a guide for Rabbid Peach.
Rabbid Peach is another character returning from Mario + Luigi: Kingdom Battle, and is available from the beginning of the game. She has the lowest HP of all party members, but is the only character that can heal others thanks to her Heal technique: without any upgrades this heals characters for 30% HP in a 13m radius, which is as far as a character can move without upgrades. This makes her an invaluable character in most combat scenarios and a viable choice for a third party member regardless of who else you choose. As her attacks also ignore partial cover, she has some utility as an attacker as well.
What skills are best for Rabbid Peach?
Unsurprisingly, you will want to focus your attention when developing Rabbid Peach into the Technique branch of her Skill Tree, to make her healing abilities more potent: Mega Heal and Heal Cooldown should be your top priority, with Emergency Heal being a costly but vital investment on higher difficulty settings. If you find that you keep your characters closer together, investing in Healing Jump and Healing Jump HP can be worthwhile, as jumps do not take up an action point and can provide a good chunk of health, which will then allow you to spend Rabbid Peach’s action points on using Sparks or attacking an enemy.
On lower difficulty settings, you can probably forgo Emergency Heal and Healing Jump and focus instead on improving her damage capabilities: as you will want to keep Rabbid Peach as far away from enemies as possible regardless, it may be worth invest in Weapon Range in the Weapon branch of her skill tree. Rabbid Peach’s rockets will also fly over cover to hit enemies in most scenarios, so Final Hit can also be a useful ability to have.
As Rabbid Peach has the lowest hit points of all characters, on higher difficulties it may also be worth considering investing in Extra Health as well, if you find that she is knocked out too easily.
Who are the best Party members to use with Rabbid Peach?
Rabbid Peach works well in most party configurations as a support unit thanks to her healing abilities, although it would be best to pair her with characters that are focused more on inflicting damage, rather than a character like Peach or Rabbid Rosalina. She has the most utility in a party with Rabbid Mario, as his technique centers around him receiving damage, but she also works well with characters like Mario and Edge, whose range isn’t quite as extensive as characters like Luigi, Rabbid Luigi, and Bowser, who likely won’t be in enemies’ line of fire very often.
Which Sparks are best for Rabbid Peach?
Sparks that give party-wide boosts such as Starburst are best given to Rabbid Peach, as she will be giving party support rather than putting herself in the line of fire most of the time. Ethering is a good option for a reserve Spark, as it will allow you to move her closer to the action without putting her at risk, and if you increase the number of Dashes that Rabbid Peach can perform in a turn, pairs well with this by boosting their damage.
