Monster Hunter Stories, which started on 3DS, was a very different take on the series. It was more about turn-based battles, exploring the world, and advancing the story. Capcom is now revisiting the concept with Monster Hunter Stories 2, which has just been announced for Switch. A release is planned for Summer 2021. Here’s the first trailer:
