Mortal Kombat 1 getting T-1000 DLC in March, teaser trailer
The release date for Mortal Kombat 1’s new T-1000 DLC was just shared alongside a teaser.
The character begins to go live on March 18, 2025. This is for those that own the Khaos Reigns content. On the same day, Madam Bo will be added as a Kameo Fighter. Note that everyone else will gain access on March 25.
Here’s some information about the character:
Featuring the voice and likeness of actor Robert Patrick, the liquid metal-based cybernetic assassin from the Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) film utilizes a deadly moveset allowing the advanced prototype to shapeshift and organically form stabbing weapons. The T-1000 will join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on March 18 as part of the early access period for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion owners, followed by wide availability for purchase on March 25.
The video also shows off a glimpse of Madam Bo, a new downloadable content Kameo Fighter who can assist during matches with a range of support moves. The Madam Bo Kameo Fighter will be available as a content update for all Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns owners at no additional cost or via standalone purchase on March 18.
The new trailer was debuted at Pro Kompetition Mexico, the opening event for the Mortal Kombat 1 Pro Kompetition: Season 2, hosted in Mexico City. The new season of the global esports program featuring Mortal Kombat 1 features a $255,000 USD total prize pool with a variety of live, in-person events across North America, Latin America, South America, and Europe, as well as multiple online tournaments.
