Do you have any extra My Nintendo Gold Points lying around? Do you plan on picking up the new NES controllers for Nintendo Switch Online games? If so, you might be interested to hear about a new offer currently live on My Nintendo in Europe.

The rewards site has added in three different vouchers that can be used to lower the price of the controllers. The values are £1.00, £3.00, and £5.00, which cost 100, 300, and 500 Gold Points respectively. Vouchers can be used to discount the controller price when orders open on the official store.

Here’s the full notice from Nintendo:

With a Nintendo Switch Online paid membership, you have the option to purchase Nintendo Entertainment System Controllers and play enhanced NES games in an authentic fashion.

On My Nintendo, you can get a voucher which you can use to receive a discount on the order of NES Controllers! My Nintendo members can redeem Gold Points for My Nintendo Store vouchers in three different values, £1.00, £3.00 and £5.00, which can be used when (and only when) ordering the NES Controllers here (The URL will go live as soon as orders open for the NES controllers). You can use only one voucher code per order. NES Controllers are exclusively offered to members of Nintendo Switch Online.*

It’s easy to use these vouchers! Here’s how it works: Once you redeem your Gold Points for a My Nintendo Store Voucher, a voucher code will be displayed on the reward page. Copy or note down this code and enter the voucher code during the purchase process of the NES Controllers. It’ll then automatically give a discount of the corresponding amount.

*NES Controllers are not available to purchase during a Nintendo Switch Online free trial period, or using a Child Account. Orders are limited to one per Nintendo Account.

We don’t see a similar notice on the North American My Nintendo site at present, but we’ll let you know if/when that changes.
