NetherWorld demo

There’s a Nintendo Switch demo on the way for the narrative-focused 2D action adventure game NetherWorld, SelectaPlay and Hungry Pixel has announced.

Technically the trial is already live in Europe via the official store page. However, we’re not quite seeing it in North America yet. That could change if the Nintendo eShop updates later today.

Here’s an overview of the game:

You are Medoo, a recently dumped jellyfish with a broken heart, a thirst for vodka, and a talent for getting punched in bars. Explore a world of disturbingly charming pixel art, deranged nightlife, and absolutely no emotional support. Everyone’s either selling something, hiding something, or trying to kill you. Sometimes all three.

Key Features

  • Narrative Mayhem – Chat with strippers, sociopaths, cultists, and con artists as you search for something resembling meaning.
  • Mini-Games Galore – Box drunks, dodge bullets, and ride a mechanical tick through a roguelike dungeon. Obviously.
  • Boss Fights from Hell – Use guns, blades, or just pure spite to survive encounters with monsters that should not exist.

A new demo trailer for NetherWorld is available below.
