Neva coming to Switch in October 15

Neva, the newest game from the developer of Gris. was just given a release date. Devolver Digital will be publishing it on October 15, 2024.

Neva was originally made known for Switch in May 2023. While it was always on track for 2024, no further specifics about timing were provided until now.

Following a traumatic encounter with dark forces, Alba finds herself bound to a curious, mischievous wolf cub. Working together, the pair will help each other overcome increasingly dangerous situations. The wolf will grow and mature over time, as will Alba’s relationship with it, as they traverse this cursed, decaying world.

Building on what Nomada Studio achieved with GRIS, players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation and a haunting original score from GRIS composers Berlinist. Unlike their previous effort, Neva also features light, intuitive combat that sees players employ both sword and sidekick against hordes of monstrous creatures.
